CLINICAL TRIALS

Phase II Clinical Trials

Following an extensive preclinical and safety program, BiolActis proceeds with Phase II Clinical Trials to obtain a human validation on the effectiveness of its MPM biologics for a particular indication in patients with the disease or condition.

This phase of testing also helps determine the common short-term side effects and risks associated with the products. These studies are typically well-controlled, closely monitored, and powered by a biostatistician to reach a significant number of patients, usually involving a minimum of several hundred individuals.

The company’s Phase II Trials are designed as randomized Clinical Trials, where some patients receive MPM and others receive placebo treatment. Randomized Clinical Trials are considered the most reliable form of scientific evidence in healthcare because they eliminate spurious causality and bias.

BiolActis conducts all multi-centered Clinical trials worldwide to the highest medical and ethical standards and according to Good Clinical Practice and with the oversight of institutional ethics committees. BiolActis is also committed to providing information and transparency about the trials it conducts.
