Technologie BiolActis Inc. (BiolActis) is a Canadian biotechnology company incorporated in 1998. Since its foundation, the entrepreneurs were committed to create novel Biologics meeting well identified needs from the Wellness Industries (Functional Nutrition, Dietary Supplements, Cosmeceuticals and Pharmaceuticals).
BiolActis is pursuing a pharmaceutical approach to characterize the health benefits of its products for human wellness, particularly for metabolic disorders and the following obesity-associated conditions: weight management, systemic and local inflammation, hyperlipidemia, metabolic syndrome, hypertension, diabetes and cancer.
The company’s strategic patent portfolio and pharmaceutical know how is composed of 3 main assets:
- a Platform of production of a wide array of products by means of industrial fermentation named Valactis™
- a Screening System of health benefits called Galactis™ and
- a pipeline of Multi Plex Matrices products (MPM).
